What is LiveLoop?
LiveLoop is desktop looping software built for live music performance — a loop-based DAW that loops and layers audio and MIDI in real time, hands-free, on stage.
Is it a one-time purchase or a subscription?
A one-time purchase. LiveLoop Lite is €49 and LiveLoop Pro is €199 — no subscription — and there’s a free version to try first.
What does LiveLoop run on?
LiveLoop runs on macOS 10.11.6 or later (Intel or Apple Silicon) and on Windows 8 or later (64-bit Intel/AMD), with at least 4 GB RAM (8 GB recommended).
Can it host my own plugins?
Yes — LiveLoop hosts VST, Audio Unit (AU) and Max-for-Live (M4L) plugins, so your instruments and effects come with you.
How many tracks and looping modes does it have?
LiveLoop Pro gives you up to 16 tracks and multiple looping modes (Sync, Free, Beat-Quantized and more), plus Ableton Link sync and a MIDI looping mode added in v4.
What’s the difference between Lite and Pro?
Lite (€49) covers the core looping workflow; Pro (€199) adds more tracks (up to 16), advanced looping features, Ableton Link, the sequencer and multi-channel loops.
Is there a free version?
Yes — LiveLoop Free lets you try it before upgrading to Lite or Pro.
